History
A band's earliest incarnation consisted of guitar player & singer Jon Spencer, guitarist Julie Cafritz and drummer John Hamill though this line-up would exist as subject to each vary & expansion around late years. Ensuing a self discharged Heptad" Feel Good About Your Body, they added guitarist Neil Hagerty and replaced Hamill with former Sonic Youth drummer Bob Bert. They further expanded the line-up by taking on Cristina Martinez as a guitarist though she was not really a musician, she had simply taken the photograph for the 7", & recorded a EP Groovy Hate Fuck. A EP, such as 100% of their early releases, would exist as self-freed in their have Shove Records label.

Good before a EP's release, it publicly vented their hate for Dischord Records boss Ian McKaye and made themselves potentially sir thomas more unpopular amongst Wa D.C.'s hardcore punk scene. It afterwards left for New York where they freed the limited-edition cassette-only handle album of the Rolling Stones' Exile on Main Street. It followed this higher inside January 1987 with another self-freed mini-placed Pussy Gold 5000. Shortly fallowing this Martinez left a b& and formed Boss Hog a few years later.

Inside September 1987, Pussy Galore recorded their debut album & their number one recording for an additional label, Right Now!. Shortly resulting a release of Correct At present!, Hagerty left a b& and was replaced by Kurt Wolf but he was to return to a Pussy Galore line-higher as a result the release of the Sugarshit Sharp EP with Wolf allowing to join Loudspeaker. Their final release for Caroline Records, the good-length placed Dial M for Motherfucker, was released around 1989 and continued their formula of nihilistic guitar noise and punk rock provocation.
